Can Dogs Eat Parsley?
Curly parsley in small amounts is safe. Spring parsley (a different plant) is toxic. Keep portions small — large amounts of any parsley can cause issues.
Curly parsley is safe in small amounts
Common curly parsley and flat-leaf (Italian) parsley are safe for dogs in small amounts. They contain vitamins A, C, and K, and may help freshen breath. However, large quantities can cause sensitivity to sunlight and uterine contractions. Spring parsley (Cymopterus watsonii) is a different plant entirely and is toxic.
