1. Agreement to Receive SMS Messages
Sidekick Vet ("PupPilot Corp," "we," "our," or "us") may send SMS (text) messages to users who have opted in to receive communications from Sidekick Vet.
By providing your mobile phone number and opting in, you agree to receive SMS messages from Sidekick Vet in accordance with these SMS Terms & Conditions. Your consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.
2. Program Description
Sidekick Vet sends informational and service-related SMS messages, which may include:
- Appointment and consultation confirmations and reminders
- Veterinary consultation status updates (e.g., "a veterinarian is ready for you")
- Follow-up care instructions and post-consultation summaries
- Account-related notifications (e.g., password resets, payment confirmations)
- Service updates and availability notifications
- Support communications
Messages are related to your use of the Sidekick Vet veterinary telehealth platform. We do not send marketing or promotional SMS messages unless you separately opt in to receive them.
3. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies depending on your activity, scheduled consultations, and service interactions. You may receive multiple messages per consultation session (e.g., booking confirmation, veterinarian assignment, follow-up summary).

4. Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply. Please check with your mobile carrier for details regarding your messaging plan. Sidekick Vet is not responsible for any charges your carrier may impose for receiving SMS messages.
5. Opt-Out Instructions
You may opt out of receiving SMS messages from Sidekick Vet at any time by replying with any of the following keywords to any message:
After opting out, you will receive a single confirmation message and will no longer receive SMS messages from Sidekick Vet unless you re-opt in.
Important: Opting out of SMS messages does not cancel your Sidekick Vet account or any scheduled consultations. You remain responsible for managing your appointments through the Sidekick Vet website or app.

7. Privacy & Data Protection
Sidekick Vet respects your privacy. Your mobile phone number and SMS data are handled as follows:
- No selling or sharing for marketing. We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in data with third parties, affiliates, or partners for marketing or promotional purposes.
- Service delivery only. We share your phone number with our SMS delivery provider solely to deliver messages to you, under binding agreements that ensure confidentiality.
- Veterinary services. Your phone number may be shared with PVC to the extent necessary to deliver the veterinary telehealth services you requested.
- No mobile data for advertising. Under no circumstances will mobile information, opt-in data, or SMS content be shared or sold for advertising or promotional use.

8. Supported Carriers
SMS services are available on major U.S. wireless carriers, including but not limited to AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and Sprint. Sidekick Vet is not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages due to carrier network issues, device incompatibility, or other factors outside our control.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Service availability may vary by carrier and geographic location.
9. Health-Related Messages
SMS messages from Sidekick Vet may contain information related to your pet's health, including consultation summaries, care instructions, and follow-up recommendations. These messages are provided for informational purposes and are based on the veterinary services delivered by PVC.
SMS messages do not constitute veterinary advice. Always refer to the full consultation notes available in your Sidekick Vet account and follow up with a licensed veterinarian for any concerns about your pet's health.
10. Changes to These Terms
Sidekick Vet may update these SMS Terms & Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued receipt of SMS messages after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
